An IPO for one of India’s largest footwear retailers, the total issue comprised a fresh issue of INR 295 crore and an offer for sale of Rs. 10,730 million by promoters.
The Anchor book witnessed strong participation from different pools of investors like long-only FIIs, sovereign wealth funds, endowment funds, insurance companies and alternate investment funds.
As the left lead banker, Axis Capital handheld the company throughout the IPO process to ensure a smooth and successful closure. Extensively marketing Metro brands across the investor spectrum and generating early demand from best-in-class anchor, the anchor book procurement was dominated with more than 35% share in a 5-bank syndicate.
