IIFL Special Opportunities Fund acquired a large stake by investing across primary and secondary capital. Existing shareholder SCPE (Standard Chartered Private Equity) and Affirma Capital (a newly formed, independent private equity firm to be managed by the team at SCPE) co-invested as part of the trade.
Early investors Dvara Trust, LeapFrog Investments and Accion partially sold their stake in the company but will however continue to stay significantly invested.

We were instrumental in advising the company on the entire process including numerous investor discussions, negotiations, complex transaction structure, due-diligence,documentation & closure.
Axis Capital presented the unique and specialized business architecture of Northern Arc to investors through detailed business understanding and Investment thesis to generate significant investor interest at an early stage of transaction. In a three-banker deal, Only Axis Capital was able to garner multiple offers for the deal and successfully close the said transaction with 100% procurement from the new incoming Investor. Deal experienced several constraints including IL&FS Crisis, liquidity crunch, volatility in public markets, etc., Axis Capital handheld the Company & Investors through these testing times for NBFCs to ensure smooth & timely closure.
